Thierry Sehnetia: Passionate Portrait Photographer & Proud Navy Veteran
Meet Thierry Sehnetia, a charismatic and passionate portrait photographer with a remarkable story. Born in Nkambe, a quaint town in the North West Region of Cameroon, Thierry's love for the creative arts began at a young age. From sketching and writing poems to composing music, he was always captivated by the power of expression.
At the age of twelve, Thierry captured his first photo using a flip phone. Though the equipment was humble and his skills yet to be honed, that single image ignited a deep passion for portrait photography that has only grown stronger over the years.
In 2018, Thierry moved to Maryland, USA, and a year later, he joined the US Navy. His service in the armed forces not only represents the proudest chapter of his life but also opened doors to countless opportunities. While in the Navy, Thierry had the privilege of working with incredible individuals who encouraged him to pursue his passion and turn it into something truly special.
PICSOFSILVER was born in September 2019 after Thierry delivered a set of photos to a shipmate who was absolutely enchanted by them, making Thierry realize he had a unique gift to share with the world. After being honorably discharged from the US Navy in 2022, Thierry has devoted himself to capturing the beauty of his subjects through the lens of his camera.
In his downtime, Thierry enjoys indulging in karaoke, refining his sketching skills, playing soccer, and reading. His journey, from a young creative in Cameroon to a dedicated portrait photographer and proud Navy veteran, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft and the extraordinary talent he brings to every photoshoot.
